Leslie demonstrates a very thorough knowledge of Flash with confident, to the point explanations. She meets you at your ability level and patiently teaches to make sure you "get it." For me, a bonus was her lighthearted and encouraging speaking ability.
Because I'm a "monkey see-monkey do" type of learner, I truly appreciated her teaching approach: first introducing the individual components and then building upon them. I really appreciated the handouts and samples files I collected and have used them for reference.
I'd take another class with Leslie any day!

Leslie is a fantastic instructor. She makes everything fun and interesting without dumbing things down. I learned a lot from her, but it is not just the stuff in the course outline. It's the real world stuff of the world wide web that she also tells you about as she teaches the curriculum. Ways to overcome the obstacles of the limitations of the web. Ways to make your presence of the web a more fruitful one through search engine tactics and approaches to make yourself more visible and probably more importantly, more accessible. And she is a wiz at Flash. Her explanations of how the program works and functions and how to make them do what you want were always easy to grasp and retain. Leslie was a pleasure to have as an instructor for her knowledge, her wisdom and her sense of humor, and I would recommend her to anyone interested in learning all things web-related.
