WordPress Theme Creation 101

Important! In order to learn online with me, you’ll need the following:

  • A broadband internet connection
  • Skype (free)
  • A web browser (Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer,  Google Chrome will NOT work)

Class Overview

Learn the basics of creating a basic WordPress theme from scratch. We’ll explore the different template files that make up a standard theme, and how they work together. We’ll also take a simple design created in HTML/CSS, and make a WordPress theme from it. This class will meet in 1, 2-hour online session per week.

Class Prerequisite

Participants must have a working knowledge of WordPress, HTML, and CSS.
